Editing as Data

The next bilingual conference organized by CRIHN in collaboration with the Research Group on Critical Editions in Digital Contexts (GREN) will take place on September 28 and 29 at the Université de Montréal. The conference will focus on “Editing as Data”.

On this occasion, several members of the Digital Writing Research Laboratory will present papers on their current research projects:

September 28:

  • Federico Siragusa: “From Numbering to Referentiality: Editorial Issues between Print and Digital Editions,” at 12:00 p.m.

  • Mathilde Verstraete: “The Print and Digital Editions of the Sylloge Parisina: LaTeX as a Tool for Formalization,” at 11:00 a.m.

September 29:

  • Clara Grometto (Université de Rouen-Normandie / Université de Montréal): “Traces of the Editorial Hand,” at 11:30 a.m.

  • Closing roundtable chaired by Nino Gabrielli (CRILCQ, Bibliothèque des lettres et sciences humaines), with Claude Schnéegans (former head of the Applications Section at the Université de Montréal Computing Centre and former student in the Department of Computer Science, Université de Montréal) and Marcello Vitali-Rosati (Université de Montréal), at 4:00 p.m.
