Lecture "From Computer Science in the Humanities to the Collaborative Edition of the Greek Anthology" (Dall'informatica umanistica all'edizione collaborativa dell’Antologia Greca)

What does it mean to make a digital edition of a text like the Greek Anthology? What are the prerequisites? The advantages? The challenges? After a quick introduction to the history and problems of computer science in the humanities, and some clarifications on its applications to the field of classical studies, the project of the collaborative edition of the Greek Anthology will be presented with particular attention to the relationship between technical choices and epistemological models.
